Questions
Yes. Joining, sharing cases, spaces, 1:1 shares, the credentials wallet and 5 DA-3 questions a day are free for verified dental professionals, residents and students. Pro and Team add more for people who use Mandible every day.
Licensed dentists and specialists, dental residents, dental students and faculty. We check every application before the account can post, which is what keeps the community useful.
Yes. A Team plan covers Pro for everyone with a seat, on one bill to the practice (3 to 50 seats at $15 per seat per month). If you already pay for Pro yourself and your practice gives you a seat, your personal plan pauses.
Many practices treat professional software as a business expense, but it depends on who pays and how you are employed. W-2 associates generally cannot deduct subscriptions they pay for themselves, which is why having the practice pay is usually simplest. This is general information, not tax advice; ask your CPA. No. Mandible is a no-PHI platform. Cases must be de-identified before they are shared: no names, dates, chart numbers or faces. Crop photos to the lips and teeth. Export cards are screened for burned-in text as an extra safeguard, but de-identification is your responsibility.
Plans are purchased on the web at app.mandible.io. Once you subscribe, Pro works everywhere you sign in, including the iOS app.
Go to Plan & billing in the web app and choose Manage subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then drop to Free. Your cases and spaces stay.
